This ShoreBreak Firm Test Run was produced to evaluate a stiffer 97A rubber blend. It is the firmest ShoreBreak material we have released and delivers a noticeably stiffer hand feel while retaining the impact-absorbing characteristics that make our rubber discs different from conventional plastic.
The 97A blend takes a little longer to rebound after very hard impacts, so we consider this a test-run material rather than our standard production blend. For putting, controlled approaches, and most normal throws, it performs well and gives players who prefer a firmer putter a unique option.
